Christmas Music Box - We Wish You a Merry Christmas

This is a traditionally constructed music box mechanism that plays We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The intricate workings of the 2" movement consist of a rotating drum with pins which twang a sprung metal eighteen note 'comb'. This can be clearly seen in action as the handle is slowly turned to produce the music. The notes sound much louder and fuller when the mechanism is placed on a wooden surface and played.
